After speaking with Ed I was confident he would get my DUI down to a wet and reckless. And that is exactly what he did. Throughout my case he kept me up to date on what was going on. In September of 2014, I was in a pretty bad DUI Accident. I totaled my new car and damaged property. This happened to occur on one of Palo Alto’s busiest streets. Thank God this occurred in the middle of the night, and nobody was injured. Had it been during the day with pedestrians in the area- I probably wouldn’t be writing this now.  I forgot to mention this all happened right in front of cops. So it wasn’t looking too good for me. I live in Los Angeles, but I was working temporarily in Sunnyvale. With this kind of incident; I would’ve been crucified in LA. So I was pretty damn anxious for what was to come. From the very beginning, Ed Samuels was calm, collective, and confident. He broke it down for me as to what was going to happen and what was required of me. All I can say is he did so much more than I ever expected. I was late on getting my paper work and community service done unfortunately since I was so busy, I NEVER had the time. But he was still able to work with me to get all the paperwork handled. Which I couldn’t thank him enough for. He was on top of everything: with replies, callbacks, court appearances, this guy is awesome! I can’t recommend him enough to anyone who’s unsure about who they hire. Whether it be about staying on top of all the paperwork-to representing you in court; This is who you want. From your initial meeting, to the very last piece of paperwork to file; Ed was on point. He is definitely worth your time. After everything was said and done I’m not sure if I ever said thanks. . So, Thank You Ed. I really do appreciate all the work you put in!

I live in the Los Angeles area, but I needed help with filing a motion at the Palo Alto courthouse. It was based on a brand new law and was too delicate to do myself in pro se. I reached out to a few attorneys and ended up hiring Mr. Samuels. As soon as I reached out to him, he knew exactly what I needed. He was even aware of the new law - something I can’t say about the other attorneys I spoke to in the area. He immediately jumped on my issue and began resolving it. I had another similar motion in another county, and Mr. Samuels also worked with my other attorney as an adviser. All in all, I found Mr. Samuels to be very competent and efficient. There was no fluff, no unnecessary communication and no strange delays. In the end, my motion was granted and I got what I needed. I didn’t even have to appear - everything was done for me. The fee was reasonable, affordable and fair. I hope that I never have to, but I would gladly work with Mr. Samuels again.

Edwin Samuels is a very approachable thorough attorney that will fight for what he believes is right. I had a very pleasant experience with his services and would recommend him over and over again to family and friends. The law is the law in most cases. I cannot thank Ed enough for the help he provided to a family member who was arrested for A DUI. His knowledge of the law and experience with local courts was invaluable. He spent a lot of time on the phone and in person working to resolve the case to a satisfactory outcome, and keeping everyone involved up to date on the process and strategy. We were referred to Ed Samuels by a previously satisfied client and were extremely impressed by the way he successfully handled a driver reevaluation with the DMV for by mother. Unfortunately my 18 year old son was arrested in March 2013 for 1) DUI 2) possession of more than an ounce of marijuana 3) possession of a fake ID. We were faced with a potential felony and two misdemeanors. Shocking for any parents knowing our son, with a potential felony, would have his career opportunities limited by 99% as well likely would have forced our son down a road commensurate with that sort of criminal background. Mr. Samuels, with his experience, knowledge and business relationships with the DAs and judges negotiated all three issues to infractions with the opportunity to have all three matters expunged from his record. Mr. Samuels, on a rating system of 5 stars, gets 20 stars from my family and me.
